The Medicare plans that are ending
CMS publishes, every October, exactly what happens to every plan the following year. For 2026: 0 plans are being terminated outright, 300 are being merged into another plan, and 0 are renewing but withdrawing from some of the counties they serve today.
If your plan is on this list you will need to choose another during the Annual Enrollment Period, or you will be returned to Original Medicare. Nobody writes to tell you this except your plan, in the annual notice of change.
